AMDV Technologies operates this website. If you have a question about anything below, email info@amdvnextzen.com.
What we do not do
There is no analytics package on this site. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no heat mapping, no advertising or retargeting pixels, and no third-party session recording. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell to anyone else.
The site sets no cookies. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a third party in order to render text.
What is stored in your browser
Two things, both small, and neither of them sent to us.
If you switch between the light and dark themes, your choice is saved in local storage under the key amdv-theme. It holds one word: either "light" or "dark". Before you make a choice, the site follows your operating system's appearance setting and stores nothing at all.
If you use the ask panel described below, its transcript is saved in session storage under the key amdv-chat, so the conversation survives you clicking through to the page it suggested. Session storage is emptied when you close the tab, so nothing kept there outlives the visit.
Neither key is readable by any other site, and clearing your browser data removes both.
The ask panel
The panel in the corner has a language model behind it, and it is the one part of this site that sends what you type to somebody else. So this section is longer than the rest.
When you send a message, that message and up to eight earlier turns of the same conversation are posted to this site's own server, which forwards them to Azure OpenAI, a Microsoft service, along with a description of the pages on this site. The model's only job is to answer in a sentence or three and point you at the right page. Anything past 900 characters is cut before the message is sent.
The request is made with the flag that asks the provider not to retain the exchange, so it is used to produce the answer rather than kept as history or training data on their side. On our side, the server does not write the contents of these conversations to its logs.
If the model is unreachable, or the site is running without credentials for it, the panel still answers: it picks the closest page from the site's own copy and replies with that. In that case nothing you typed leaves our server at all.
Treat it as a way of finding a page rather than a confidential channel. For anything that matters there is a form at /contact/ and an address at info@amdvnextzen.com.
The contact form
What you type into the contact form is posted to this site's own server, which emails it to info@amdvnextzen.com and keeps no copy. There is no third-party form processor in between: no separate company receives your answers, your IP address, or your browser user agent in order to pass the message along. The email is sent through the same provider that already hosts that mailbox, which handles it the way it handles every other email we receive.
You also get an automatic acknowledgement at the address you gave us. It confirms the brief arrived and contains nothing you wrote.
We use what you send to reply to you and to scope the work you are asking about. We do not add you to a mailing list: there is no mailing list.
If the email fails to send, the server writes your submission to its own log so the enquiry is not lost, and we contact you from there. That is the one case in which what you typed sits in a server log rather than only in a mailbox.
The form includes a hidden field that a human visitor never sees. It exists to catch automated submissions and holds no information about you. The server also counts submissions per IP address, in memory and for ten minutes at a time, to slow down automated ones.
How long we keep it
Project correspondence is kept for as long as the enquiry is live and for our records afterwards, in line with the retention we apply to business email generally. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Hosting and logs
Every page you can navigate to is built as HTML ahead of time, but it is delivered by our own server rather than a bare file host, and the two endpoints behind the ask panel and the contact form are handled by that server at the moment you use them. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs for analytics or combine them with anything else.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold very little, most of these requests are quick to answer. Email info@amdvnextzen.com and we will respond within one month.
Changes
If the site starts collecting something it does not collect today, or starts sending it somewhere new (analytics, a hosted form processor, a different model provider), this page changes in the same release, and the effective date above changes with it.
