Process

Four steps, and what each one produces

4 steps ยท staging from week one

You review working pages on a real URL, not static mockups. Every step ends in something you can hold, which is also how we know it finished.

Map the decision

We work out who signs, who blocks, and what each of them needs to see before they will move. That list becomes the page structure. Most sites fail here, not in the design.

Output: Buyer map, page architecture, success measure

Shape the system

Routes, components, content models, SEO rules, and interaction patterns get defined together, so the writing and the layout are not fighting each other later.

Output: Component inventory, content model, SEO plan

Build in the open

You review working pages on staging, not static mockups. Copy, layout, and behaviour improve at the same time because you are looking at the real thing on a real phone.

Output: Staging URL, updated weekly, with a written change list

Verify before launch

Performance, contrast, keyboard paths, reflow at 320px, metadata, forms, and analytics are all checked and recorded. We give you the numbers, not a claim that it is fine.

Output: Launch report with measured results

What we need from you Not much
  • One person who can make a decision
  • Whatever you already know about your buyers
  • Access to anyone whose sign-off is required
  • Roughly two hours a week during build

You do not need finished copy. Waiting until the writing is perfect before starting is the most reliable way a project slips a month.

What slows projects down Honestly
  • Feedback arriving from four people who disagree
  • Content that depends on someone outside the project
  • Scope added after the structure is agreed
  • Approvals that were not scheduled

None of these are unusual. They are listed because naming them at the start is cheaper than discovering them in week five.

The launch report

Step four ends in a written record: measured load metrics, contrast ratios for both themes, keyboard path results, reflow behaviour at 320px, metadata coverage, and form delivery confirmation. You get the numbers, not an assurance that it is fine.

Step 00

The step before step one

Send the brief. If the decision map takes ten minutes because you already know it, we will say that too.
